1. Initiate feasibility study and proposal to examine possible areas for automation with potential for cost saving and quality improvement opportunities.

2. Develop manufacturing solutions with the best combination of manual, semi-automation and/or fully automation. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow. Design the layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and safety.

3. Define, develop and deploy automation requirements and specifications, evaluate supplier quotations to determine the best combination of technical solution, cost and timing.

4. Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them.

5. Conduct automation design reviews and provide design guidance to suppliers

6. Provide on-site support during machine build, debug and testing/qualification.

7. Supervise installation and testing to verify requirements and specifications are met, support equipment qualification/validation activities.

8. Support new product development automation needs, facilitate assembly processes through the implementation of assembly cells and automated equipment at NPI stage and ensure meeting development timeline.

9. Interface with customers and functional owners on product development issues regarding automation. Conduct design-for-automation analysis and provide detailed recommendations.

與客戶和相關(guān)人員就自動(dòng)化相關(guān)的產(chǎn)品開發(fā)問題進(jìn)行溝通。進(jìn)行自動(dòng)化設(shè)計(jì)分析并提供詳細(xì)的建議。

10. Ensure that all automatic equipment is in compliance with safety, health and environmental standards.

確保所有自動(dòng)化設(shè)備符合安全、健康和環(huán)境標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

11. Examine and bring in applicable new process and advanced technology to the company in order to enhance advanced manufacturing process.

審查并引進(jìn)適用的新工藝和先進(jìn)技術(shù)，提高先進(jìn)制造工藝水平。

•  B.S/MS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.

• 2~5 years experience in automatic machine design or development.

• 2~5 years related experience in a technology-based industry, where a mix of automated and manual assembly techniques is utilized.

• Independent judgement in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques is required.

• Good experience in project management, preparing project budgets and timelines.

• Skilled in the usage of Solidworks for automation design and documentation.

• Good in English writing and reading.
