崗位職責(zé):

1. Provide oversight and support over transaction and surveillance framework, including the design, enhancement and implementation aspects Assist in identify FCTM risks and performing compliance risk assessmentsMonitor regulatory change developments and potential impact of regulatory change on the GBM Business in Asia in terms of surveillance Perform and support conduct risk assessments. Assist in providing training to create compliance awareness including on thematic issues .Reviews and assist in carrying out the effective deployment of the FCTM Monitoring Plan for GBM. Provide compliance advise on surveillance matters Review new product approvals and any new business initiatives by GM Assist to maintain regulatory relationships;
2. Liaise/engage with relevant stakeholder within GBM as well as other Global Business and Functions in Hong Kong to provide expertise and support on all Regulatory Compliance related matters.Interact with Regulators and industry bodies in Asia, on Regulatory Compliance matters relating to GBM Surveillance Ensure the appropriate timely and relevant risk information is provided to GBM management, in-country management and RC management in region;
3. Strong communication and working relationship within other RC teams, other Risk Disciplines, Functions and Global Businesses to ensure implementation of new disciplines.Assist the Head of Surveillance in guiding and developing the team.Share best practice with other business lines.Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with business managers at the Global and Country levels;
4. Assist regional colleagues to align operating practices with changes in Global Compliance Standards and Policies. Resolve any/all identified issues promptly, and escalate concerns to regional heads as appropriate to ensure timely awareness of any material concerns.Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.


任職資格:

1. An understanding of Global Markets and “private side” business and understanding of information control barrier risks Strong knowledge of financial products, such as Equities, Fixed income and/or Foreign exchanges. In particular, strong knowledge of OTC derivatives (FX, Options, Fixed income & Structured derivatives, Interest rate swaps, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives etc.) would be highly preferred;
2. Communications (including eComm and audio) Surveillance experience, or an ability to rapidly upskill is essential.A team player that can Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment. Able to communicate in smooth Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
3. An ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in Surveillance deliverables in both staff and stakeholders.The ability to maintain ‘grip’ and attention to detail on multiple and competing Surveillance team and personal priorities, and ensure delivery through self and through or with others;
4. A team player that can Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment.Prefer strong communication skills on minor languages (Vietnamese/Thai language/Japanese/Korean).
